Who I am and the goal of this Blog

Utopia could be the reality of tomorrow and some simple ideas can really improve and change the World.

I'm born in 1965 and I'm living in Ile-de France (Parisian Region), working as an executive in an European high-street bank. Consequently, I'm a simple and independent European Citizen, belonging to none politic parties, but fascinated by the European construction.

Indeed, I'm a French-German with Slovak, Czech and Hungarian roots meaning that before the break-down of the Berlin wall, I get some relatives who were living in the former Socialists Republics in Central Europe (e.g. German Democratic Republic).

As a teenager, I had already the intuition but also the conviction based on geopolitics knowledge, that one day the Europe will become united. At that time (beginning of the Eighteen's) such ideas seem crazy to quite every body. The Soviet Bloc seems eternal and the split of Europe something lasting.

But 1989 came, with first borders easily crossed in Hungary and then the well-known historic events of Berlin.

Next January, when Romania and Bulgaria are joining the European Union as new members, quite all Central Europe will be united to the western part, something unbelievable only 20 years ago.

The great achievement of UE is to have brought PEACE between these countries of this Community for time of the History of those nations.

Of course, this historic peaceful process is not achieved for the continent: Turkey, the Balkanise countries, some western countries (Norway, Switzerland), Eastern Europe (including Russia) remain outside the Union with very different situation regarding the integration process. It doesn't mind because this blog is focused on a long term process (mid to end of XXI th Century) and we know that one day those the here above countries will be part of the UE or at least will have very tight links with the UE.

In the mi-term of my life (based on life expectancy statistics), I have now the intuition and the conviction supported by geopolitics facts too, that the European Integration is only a step toward another great achievement : the creation of the United Communities of Eurasiafrica.

In the long term, this Eurasiafrican Union should gathered, with the Mediterranean Sea as core Region, the following Communities : the Community of Independent States, the European Union (+ the Mediterranean countries part of the co-operation process of Barcelona), the Arab League and the African Union.

The target of this blog is to explain step by step, month after month (unfortunately, my professional life leaves me few free time) on what facts and details this geopolitical vision relies and to welcome your relevant comments (in French, German, English or eventually other language as I have some knowledge in different other languages).
